GALAXY FC ACADEMY
Galaxy FC Academy training is run by a select group of professional coaches. Each training session is carefully planned out to give the players and club the best out comes.
The sessions are divided into 5 distinct stage. Warm Up, Strength and Conditioning, Skils Acquition, Game senarios & Set Plays, then finally Cool Down and Mentoring.
THE PROGRAM
Futsal Galaxy FC Academies in which our representative players will train and coach young players in Futsal basics. Academies will be available to anyone wanting to learn about Futsal and will focus on, but not be limited to the following things: Attacking Principles, Defensive Principles, Set Pieces, systems of play and Goalkeeping all in line with the FFA National Curriculum.
The main purpose of these Academies is to enrich young players in society to the great sport of futsal and all the benefits that the sport brings.
Ultimately we want to train these young players and give them a pathway to be able to play for one of our four Premier clubs and ultimately wear a Galaxy Jersey when age permits.
Our vision is to increase the current Futsal participation rate within Qld whilst supporting the current state and national pathways directed by Football QLD and the FFA
Galaxy fully understands that goals are reached by flexibility.
A number of players / families take holidays trips during the school holidays (and rightly so) making more players being unavailable for training.
The Galaxy FC programis split into 3 x Terms totalling 30 sessions all with 1.5 hr training sessions , thus allowing families time off throughout the year to enjoy their holidays.
Each session and is closely monitored by the entire coaching staff during the strength and conditioning period. This makes sure that every player is benefiting and guided to achieve their individual peak performance.
The Skills Acquition seasons, the squads are taken by their designated coach and go through and intensive skills development cycle, That is tailored by the players and teams needs to be worked on.
The Game Phase of traing brings everything the players have learned into game related senarios as well as different tactics and set plays

Player assessment & feedback is provided as well as parent progress & development meetings whereby players & parents will meet once each term one on one with the Coach to discuss the players development progress and areas of improvement needing to be focused on. Focusing on adding extra resources to allow us to provide you with more team development feedback on your weekly coaching sessions.
Skills Acquisition Program
Galaxy endorses a skills training program to improve the players individuals skill, ability and performance in addition to their team technical and game strategy training, which has been our major focus in developing well roundsed free thinking players. International Partnerships
Galaxy has forged partnerships with International Organisations and clubs to best expose players to the international stage. We will be attending and travelling as a team with Coach & Managers supervising the touring parties. Trips are planed well in advance and will have the prices published and payment plans in place to suit. Families will still have the flexibility in extending their travel plans after the tournaments to whatever they desire so the flexibility on that side will be theirs.
